Ahoy, mateys! Let me tell ye about Mutiny, a fine establishment in Ocala fit for any scurvy dog. This be a proper dive bar, with grog flowing like the mighty Mississippi and tunes that'll make ye wish you were somewhere else. The wenches behind the bar be friendly as can be, and the prices be fair enough to keep yer doubloons jingling. They often have live music, and the place be alive with the sound of laughter and the clinking of tankards. If ye be lookin' for a place to let loose and have a grand time, Mutiny be the place to be!

I just moved to Ocala from St. Pete and Mutiny was the first bar I went to while exploring downtown. My boyfriend and I walked up to the bar and asked if two seats were taken and everyone just moved to the other side of the bar, no response. The bartender was in the corner of the bar that we sat at but, she made no contact of any kind. She then walked to the other side of the bar to banter with some patrons and stayed there the entire time. We sat almost 10 minutes with no eye contact, no head nod, no hand gesture, no words. We finally, after feeling very uncomfortable, just walked out. I will never return and I also don’t recommend this establishment to anyone else.

This bar is great. Im just visiting my parents who moved down to Ocala years ago and wish I knew about this place sooner. It's a good punk dive bar. I'm visiting from Oregon and this rivals anything we have in Portland. Really friendly bartenders and both the live music and music they play is great. Also very reasonable prices for drafts and they have an awesome craft beer selection with beers rated super high on Untapped. I wish we had this place in Portland.

This place was an unexpected gem right off the square. Went in on a Saturday night and it was pretty busy, had to find a place to stand since all the seats were full, but even having live bands playing we never had to raise our voices or shout to have a conversation. The people were all really chill and relaxed, the music was great, the decorations are awesome and features several local artists. Nathan in the kitchen was great and whipped up some really amazing buffalo chicken dip. 10/10 experience. I will definitely go back again.
