Great food, good service and a nice inside vibe. The Texas chili has a little bit of heat and is very tasty. I added the onions and cheese and a few pieces of chopped jalapeño. I don’t think it needed any additional heat. The fried pickles were good although the batter was a little salty and I’m normally a salt person. We thought they paired better with ranch than the comeback sauce that comes with them. Buttermilk Chicken was great. We split between two of us and it was plenty. Thanks for splitting the meal and sides in the kitchen with no up-charge. (We were charged extra for cheese and sour cream for the chili with no warning.) The sides of grits and black-eyed peas were okay, just nothing special. Our servers were great (one in-training) attentive and friendly without being overbearing.
We sat outside for lunch which is always our preference. I wish something could be added to the outside dining area to add a little character.
All in all, a positive experience. We may return to try something’s off the Bourbon wall.

A fantastic BBQ restaurant! The food is amazing! I had the Buttermilk Fried Chicken with smoked corn and mashed potatoes. Delicious! I also had a Kentucky Mule, fantastic drinks! The rest of the meals in my party came out great, and everyone enjoyed them. The only negative comment I have would be the lighting, dark inside with bright window light in the front during the day, which can make it hard to see. Hard for ones eyes to adjust. I would recommend this restaurant.

We shared a meal and it was awesome. You get good portions and it was delicious! We even had some left over to take home with us. It's expensive but you get a lot for the money. I recommend getting the three meat dinner deal that comes with two sides. We will definitely be coming back here at least once a month or more. The decor has a dark, low light theme with all kinds of art around the restaurant. The bar looks really cool as the shelves are stacked and have a ladder to reach the top. Put a spot on the map to check this place out; it's well worth it! 👍👍

Well, I have eaten and smoked a lot of meats. I was recently in Austin and waited hours for some Franklin BBQ.
Brick City was almost as good at 1/4 the price.
We had hefty servings of pulled pork, brisket and St Louis Ribs. All were properly seasoned and smoked. Meats were moist and flavorful, not needing any sauces.
Sides we had were baked beans, french fries, collards, smoked corn and a side salad. My partner really loved the smoked corn. Again well seasoned and flavorful.
Excellent prompt service and at reasonable prices. Well done team. We will be back, please 🙏🏼 keep up the great work. Rex and Cynthia

1st time there. Service was very good. Food was good. Texas chili was just OK. 2 things on the chili: 1 Not very tastee, I like chile and had been to cook offs etc. This tasterfair with a 1q-10 scale, I'd give it a 4. 2. $7 for a cup of chili is quite expensive; if I had pd attention to the price on the menu, I would not have ordered it. The rest of the food was very good, but more expensive than other places with similar items.
